Our group of 10 stayed a long weekend at Simmstown Manor to explore the bourbon trail. To say Simmstown is spectacular is an understatement. Every room is meticulously curated and at the same time welcoming and homey. We enjoyed all of the multiple sitting rooms, each large enough to fit our entire group yet serving a different purpose to aid in splitting up to explore different activities. To have cable in the carriage house game room to watch football and shoot pool was such a fun experience, and the kitchen did not disappoint. We loved it. Thank you so much, we're already planning our next trip!
Just love this place. We spent the weekend with our children and grandchildren and we all enjoyed it. The home is beautiful, clean and so welcoming. We enjoyed the lake and lake house and even did a little fishing. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer. I hope that we can plan another stay this summer but for a longer time.
Such a relaxing and beautiful atmosphere! We loved coffee on the patio and the day floating on the lake! We felt right at home !
Simmstown Manor was the perfect place for a recent family reunion. I can’t imagine a more beautiful place to spend time with extended family. The house is immaculate and the pride of ownership was obvious. The property is extremely private and everyone enjoyed taking walks around the extensive grounds and seeing the horses. The bedrooms were large and furnished elegantly and we had plenty of space for everyone, teenagers included. The owner was very responsive and met us on site to orient us with the home. The kitchen and dining areas were well equipped and had ample seating for our large party. This is a special place and we certainly hope to visit again.
